Shop & online store
The shop is where the money is made. A shop that serves customers without making them wait, and never runs out of stock, sells more and collects tips.
Shop level
Tap the counter or your sellers to open the shop panel. The shop has 8 levels, costing from $2,000 up to $250,000:
- Level 2: the repair desk and repair tech open.
- Levels 3, 5 and 7: a new register (4 in total).
- Every level also raises your staff's maximum level (from 10 to 50) and adds new decorations.
Sales staff and repair tech
The two cards at the bottom of the panel are your staff. Serving a customer takes 8 seconds at first; each level makes it about 4% faster, down to 1 second at the top. The first levels are very cheap (from $250). Sales staff level applies to every register, the repair tech's to the repair desk.
Staff don't just work faster, they earn more: each sales staff level adds 0.5% to the price of phones sold from stock (+24.5% at level 50), and each repair tech level raises the repair fee by 1 point from 50% of the phone's price (99% at level 50).
Customers, patience and tips
Customers who wait in line for about 12 seconds get angry and leave. Customers served without any wait leave a tip of up to 50% of the sale. If your warehouse is empty, customers only buy a cheap out-of-stock device ($29). Repair customers use parts from phones in stock; with an empty warehouse they leave.
More customers
- Parking lot: 5 levels ($25,000 up to $3,000,000), each level brings 5% more customers; the last level is a parking garage.
- Ad campaigns: from the ad agency building. There are 5 tiers; higher tiers last longer and bring more customers, and the top ones also raise your prices. Each tier can be held by only one player on the server at a time. Only Flyers are open at first; each agency level unlocks one more tier (level 2 $100,000, 3 $200,000, 4 $1,000,000, level 5 $4,000,000 for Special Launch).
- Special Launch: the top tier; while it runs, a launch event with your name appears in everyone's city.
Online sales office
The office south of your shop opens for $25,000. It sells 5 phones per minute straight from the warehouse, +1 per level (15 levels, up to 19 per minute). Online sales give no tips or XP; while the game is closed they continue at 25%.
Tips
- Long line? Staff. Few customers? Customers. Compare "Arriving now" with your capacity in the shop panel: if fewer customers arrive than you can serve, buy parking or a campaign, not a register.
- Fast service pays twice. Staff speed means more sales and more tips.
- Never let the warehouse run empty. An empty shop only sells $29 devices and repair customers walk away.
- Is your factory filling the warehouse? Open the online store. It sells your surplus without waiting for customers.
- Campaign slot taken? Check a lower tier. A tier held by someone else opens again when it expires.
- Parking is a long-term investment. From mid-game on, customer flow is the bottleneck; that's when each level pays off most.
